FH-Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Hans Georg Brachtendorf
Hans Georg Brachtendorf graduated in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen university, Germany and obtained the Ph.D. degree and the Venia Legendi from the University of Bremen, Germany, respectively. He was affiliated with the Wireless Laboratory of Bell Laboratories/Lucent Technologies in Murray Hill/New Jersey, USA, and the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits in Erlangen, Germany. Since 2005 Dr. Brachtendorf is full professor at the University of Applied Science of Upper Austria. His research interests include Computer-Aided Design of electronic circuits with emphasis on radio frequency circuits, Digital Signal Processing and Digital Communications.
Dr. rer. nat. Kai Bittner
Kai Bittner studied mathematics from 1991 to 1996 at the University of Rostock. He received the Ph.D. degree in 2000 at the Technical University of Munich. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Missouri - St. Louis as part of the Emmy Noether program from 2000 to 2002. From 2002 to 2008 he worked as an assistant at the University of Ulm. He then worked as a researcher at Infineon AG and the University of Wuppertal from 2008 to 2010 as part of the FP7 project ICESTARS. Since 2010 he has been a research assistant at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and was involved in national and European projects. His research interests include Wavelet Theory, Numerical Analysis, Approximation Theory, and Circuit Simulation.
Dr. rer. nat. Sven Eder
Sven Eder received his Mag. degree in mathematics from Karl Franzens Universität Graz, Austria in 1995. He was a Research Assistant with the research group on Operator and Spectral Theory at the Mathematical Physics Department of the Clausthal University of Technology, Clausthal, Germany, where he received his Dr. Degree in mathematics in 1999. In 2000, he joined Siemens Austria, shifting his interests from mathematical physics to the mathematical modelling and design of next generation telecommunications networks. He was the technical project leader of the linklevel simulation group at Siemens supporting the NSN product development for LTE/LTE-A for five years. Since April 2018 he is a research assistant at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and is involved in national and European projects. His research interests include Mathematical Physics, Functional Analysis and Operator Theory and modelling and design of Communication Systems using simulations and analytical methods.
David Haberleitner B.Sc.
David Haberleitner graduated from the technical college in Steyr in 2015. He then enrolled in the bachelor degree course Hardware Software Design at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in Hagenberg, which he completed with distinction in 2018. Currently he is enrolled in the master’s degree course Embedded Systems Design. His research interests lie in the fields of communications engineering and digital signal processing.
Martin Steiger B.Sc.
Martin Steiger graduated from the technical secondary school in Pfarrkirchen, Germany, and subsequently completed the bachelor's degree in Hardware Software Design at the University of Applied Sciences of Upper Austria 2018 with distinction. He is currently enrolled in the Embedded Systems Design master's program and worked part-time at the Intel subsidiary DMCE in Linz. His research interests include digital filter design, digital signal processing and software design for analog and digital circuits.
